The Takamine P7NC Pro Series 7 is a premium, professional-grade acoustic/electric guitar handcrafted in Japan and designed for players who demand exceptional acoustic tone, stage-ready electronics, and refined playability.

Built around Takamine’s distinctive NEX cutaway body, the P7NC delivers the projection and authority of a larger acoustic while maintaining excellent balance across the frequency range. Its solid Sitka spruce top is paired with solid rosewood back and sides, producing a rich, articulate voice with strong projection, clear highs, focused lows, and excellent note definition.

A comfortable Venetian cutaway provides easy access to the upper frets, while the mahogany neck and bound ebony fingerboard offer a smooth, substantial playing feel. Premium appointments include abalone snowflake fingerboard inlays, maple body binding, dark wood purfling, an abalone rosette, rosewood headcap with abalone Takamine logo, and gold tuning machines.

For amplified performance, the P7NC features Takamine’s sophisticated CT4-DX dual-mode preamp system, combining the renowned Palathetic under-saddle pickup with a separate Takamine soundboard transducer. Each pickup can be independently controlled and blended, allowing the player to dial in everything from a focused direct acoustic sound to a warmer, more natural body response. The system also provides EQ, notch filtering for feedback control, and an onboard chromatic tuner.

A split bone saddle improves intonation across the fingerboard, while the natural bone nut, ebony fingerboard, and solid tonewood construction complete a guitar built for serious stage and studio use.

The P7NC is part of Takamine’s Japanese-made Pro Series and includes the Takamine SH500A premium archtop hardshell case.

Buy-and-Try Returns

Sorry, we do not offer a “buy-and-try” program. If a guitar is purchased, used for evaluation, and then returned simply because it is not the right fit, the buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

In addition, a 20% restocking fee will apply, and the original shipping cost will be deducted from the refund, including orders that originally qualified for free shipping.

To be eligible for a return, you must contact our sales dept. for a RMA return auth number. Our staff can be contacted via email or phone. Your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Unless the USED item fails to meet description, or is lost or damaged in shipping, USED items cannot be returned.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable), such as items with obvious signs of use.And any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error, or any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
